Gregory A. Pugh Obituary, FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ala. — Gregory A. Pugh, 75, of Spruce Pine, Alabama, died after the motorcycle he was riding struck a dog in Franklin County late Friday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 10:33 p.m. Friday on Franklin County 22 near Franklin County 52, about 10 miles south of Russellville. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Pugh was operating a motorcycle when it struck a dog in the roadway.
The collision caused Pugh to suffer critical injuries. Emergency responders transported him to Russellville Hospital for medical treatment following the crash.
Despite medical efforts, Pugh later died from injuries sustained in the motorcycle collision. His death was reported following the single-vehicle motorcycle crash, which involved the collision with the dog.
