Tyler Hagwood Obituary, CLARKE COUNTY — Tyler Hagwood, 33, died Monday from injuries he suffered Saturday when a lawn mower overturned and trapped him while he was mowing his lawn, according to local authorities.
The accident happened in the 4600 block of County Road 456. According to Clarke County Sheriff Anthony Chancelor, Hagwood was operating a lawn mower when it overturned, leaving him trapped underneath the equipment.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and worked to rescue Hagwood. He was transported by Metro Ambulance to an area hospital, where he was treated for injuries described as life-threatening.
Clarke County Hot Topics reported Monday that Hagwood had died from the injuries he sustained in the accident. The outlet reported that Hagwood’s family had been notified of his death and that family members were able to be with him before he died.
Multiple first responders and firefighters from Clarke and Lauderdale counties responded to the scene.
