Gavin Crowl Obituary, LANCASTER COUNTY, Neb. — Gavin Crowl, 35, of Lincoln, Nebraska, has died following a fatal vehicle crash late Friday night in Lancaster County.
According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area near Southwest 84th Street and West Van Dorn Street shortly after 11 p.m. Friday following reports of a serious crash.
Preliminary information from the investigation indicates Crowl was driving a Jeep westbound on West A Street from Southwest 84th Street when he lost control of the vehicle.
The Jeep subsequently rolled over, ejecting Crowl from the vehicle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided assistance, but Crowl suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Crowl’s family has been notified of his death. The fatal crash has left his family and those who knew him grieving as authorities continue working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Southwest Fire and Rescue assisted emergency crews and law enforcement at the crash scene. Their response was part of the emergency effort following the serious overnight collision.
The circumstances that caused Crowl to lose control of the Jeep remain under investigation. Officials have not released additional information about possible contributing factors, and no further details regarding the crash have been provided at this time.
