Patel, a resident of Benford Drive in Boiling Springs, was involved in a crash Saturday evening, August 8, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The collision occurred at the intersection of Paris Bridge Road and Davis Road in Spartanburg County.
According to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger, the Coroner’s Office was called to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center on Monday, August 10, to investigate Patel’s death. He had been receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the crash before his death.
